Theatre Week in Sucre: May 6 to 12, 2025
Sucre dresses up to pay tribute to the Bicentennial with a Theatre Festival that offers a week full of art, reflection, and emotion.
The program includes panel discussions with distinguished guests, addressing key topics such as:
    • "The seed that never fully blooms," about the theatre scene in La Paz and Cochabamba
    • "Notes on the perspectives of the Santa Cruz theatre"
And of course, memorable theatrical performances both in Sucre and nearby municipalities:
    • Yamparáez: The luck of the poet Indian
    • Tarabuco: Journey to the heart of the land
    • Sucre: the prestigious Teatro de los Andes with The Death of Jesús Mamani, as well as Chillán and The Island of the Sun by Raúl Cordero, presented on various stages around the city.
An invitation filled with history, art, and relaxation
The hotel company De Su Merced enthusiastically joins this cultural homage and offers a 10% discount to all visitors staying during Theatre Week. An ideal opportunity to enjoy Sucre’s artistic richness from the comfort and charm of our spaces.
